ASE Create Database Preferences

The ASE create database preferences determine the default values for creating new ASE databases.

Table 1. ASE Create Database Preferences: device
Property	Description
Name	Logical device name for the database. Default is Workspace_data_device. The physical device name is generated automatically as $Database_Device_name$_phy.dat. The default physical name is Workspace_data_device_phy.dat.
Size(M)	Logical device size, in megabytes, of the database. Default is 5M.

Property	Description
Name	Logical device name for the log. Default is Workspace_log_device. The physical device name is generated automatically as $Log_Device_name$_phy.dat. The default physical name for the log device is Workspace_log_device_phy.dat.
Size(M)	Size, in megabytes, of the log. Default is 5M.
