Renaming a Table

When you rename a table, the reference to it remains the same.

Prerequisites 

Before you can rename a table, be sure to connect to the data server that contains the table.

Note: You cannot rename proxy tables.
  1. Under the Tables folder, find the table you want to rename.
  2. Right-click the table and select Rename.
  3. Enter a new name and click OK.
    Note: Do not use spaces in object names. Spaces could cause the renaming to fail.
