Developing a Table

Developing a table includes creating the table, editing table schema, granting table permissions, editing table data, and debugging the table.

Enterprise Explorer lists all tables in the current database that you have access to, including tables that were not created using Sybase WorkSpace.

  1. Creating a Table
    Create and define properties for SQL Anywhere, ASE, and Sybase IQ database tables and ASE temporary tables.
  2. Editing Table Schema Data
    Edit table schema to change the table definition and control the assigned privileges.
  3. Granting and Revoking Table Permissions
    Use the Permissions page of the Table Schema Editor to grant and revoke privileges to a table. You can also view table privileges.
  4. Editing Table Data
    Use the Table Data Editor to modify data in tables and proxy tables.
  5. Debugging a Table in Referenced Tables View
    You can open a table for viewing, editing, and debugging from the Referenced Tables view, which opens automatically when you launch a database debug session.
