Using Sybase WorkSpace, you can create a database service from a stored procedure, create an ASE web service consumer, create a SOAP web service from a SQL Anywhere stored procedure, and create Select for XML statements.

• Creating a Database Service from a Stored Procedure
  As an alternative to creating a database service to which you add stored procedures, you can derive a database service directly from a stored procedure. Optionally, you can create a Sybase WorkSpace project in which to locate your service. In Enterprise Explorer, select the stored procedure from which you want to create a service.
• Creating an ASE Web Service Consumer
  In the Enterprise Explorer, you can map a Web service definition to one or more proxy tables in an Adaptive Server Enterprise database, then use the proxy tables to define queries and SELECT statements. You can also use proxy tables that have already been defined in the database.
