Opening the Data Federation Perspective

Open the Data Federation perspective in Sybase WorkSpace when you want to use the editors and tools it provides for developing Data Federation view models and metadata models and for managing a data catalog.

Prerequisites 

Start Sybase WorkSpace.

You can have serveral perspectives open in Sybase WorkSpace at the same time. Use the tab in the upper right corner of the WorkSpace screen to switch perspectives:



Follow these steps to open the Data Federation perspective:

  1. Pull down the Window menu and select Open Perspective > Other . The Open Perspective dialog appears.
  2. Select Data Federation and click OK.

The Data Federation perspective opens.
