Configuring a Persist Action

Use the Persist Action dialog to configure persist actions for selected variables.

1. In the Screen Design page, click on the action decorator for which you want to edit the persist action values.
2. In Content Assist, double-click Edit Persist Action.
3. In the Persist Action dialog, select the variable for which you want to configure the persist action, and click Configure.
4. In the dialog, select:

   Option	Description
   Set as Persistence	Select to set the selected variable for persistence when the action is run. The literal, or control, value will be assigned to the variable. Note: Only user variables can be assigned in a persistence action.
   Literal	Select to use a fixed value.
   Control	Select to use a control that is defined on the screen.

5. (Optional) Click Next to configure another persist action.
6. Click OK.
