Selecting a Device

Select a device to display an empty canvas in the Screen Design page, formatted for that device.

1. From the device application tool bar, click the down arrow to the right of the device icon.

   

2. Select the device from the drop-down list.

   If you select the BlackBerry Storm, the orientation icon is activated so you can select the orientation for the device:

   

   Note: When you select None, you are using the device you set as the default device in the Device Application Designer preferences, but it displays a much larger canvas on the Screen Design page. This makes it easier to add additional controls to screens that have containers that occupy most of the screen space.
