Sybase® WorkSpace is compatible with Eclipse BIRT and CDT projects. Both Eclipse-based projects are made available by the Eclipse open source community.

BIRT provides a reporting system, with features such as report layout, data access and scripting, that integrates with your Java/J2EE application to produce compelling reports. If if you have WorkSpace Data Analytics or WorkSpace Data Analytics Enterprise licensing, the supported version of BIRT is automatically installed when you install Sybase WorkSpace 2.5. You can also download and install from the Eclipse Web site at http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project_summary.php?projectid=birt.
