If you install Sybase IQ 15.1 ESD #3 on a UNIX-like OS, you must set the IQ-15_1 variable to run Sybase IQ Server.
For the tcsh or C (csh) shell, use:
% source $SYBASE/IQ-15_1/IQ-15_1.csh
For the Korn (ksh), Bash, or Bourne (sh) shells, use:
% . $SYBASE/IQ-15_1/IQ-15_1.sh
