Viewing Messages in the Windows Event Log

Use the Windows Event Viewer in the Administrative Tools group to view messages.

1. Select Start > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
2. Double-click a message to see details.

   The Description list box defines the SAP ASE message number as a number and text.
