Setting the SAP ASE Error Log Path

Use the Server Config utility to change the SAP ASE error log path.

  1. Select Start > Programs > SAP > Adaptive Server Enterprise > Server Config.
  2. Click the SAP ASE icon from the Products box.
  3. Click Configure SAP ASE.
  4. Select the server to configure, then click Continue.
  5. Enter the login name and password of an SAP ASE user with system administrator privileges, then click Continue.
  6. When prompted, click Yes if SAP ASE is not running.
  7. Click Error Log Path, then enter the full path name to an error log file that is not on a network drive. Click OK.
  8. Click Save, then click Exit.
