IAM Custom Checks

PowerDesigner does not provide any predefined checks for the data testing of an IAM. However, you can create custom checks in an extension.

You can check an IAM in any of the following ways:

Press F4.
Select Tools > Check Model.
Right-click the diagram background and select Check Model.

The Check Model Parameters window opens, which allows you to specify the kinds of checks to perform, and the objects to apply them to. For detailed information about this window and correcting problems reported, see Checking Models.
