Editing Object Comments and Descriptions

Users can edit the Comment, Description, and Annotation properties of objects directly in the PowerDesigner Portal if they have the Edit PowerDesigner Portal Objects repository right.

1. Navigate to the object whose properties you want to edit in the Repository Explorer and select the General tab.
2. Make any appropriate modifications directly in the text-only Comment field.
3. To modify the RTF Description or Annotation fields, click the Edit button under the field to download and open the content in your default RTF editor. Make your edits and save the file, then click the Browse button to browse to and select it, and then click the Upload button to overwrite the existing content of the field.
4. Click the Save button to save your changes.
