Creating Objects from the Browser

You can create any object, including objects that do not have symbols, from the Browser. If the Browser is not visible, select View > Browser (or press Alt+0) to display it.

  1. Right-click the model, package, object, or category where you want to create the object, and select New > object type .
  2. Type an object name and code in the General tab of the property sheet, and then add any other relevant properties (see Object Properties).
  3. Click OK to confirm the creation of the object.

    The object is created in the appropriate category in the Browser. If the object has a symbol, it will also be added (where possible) to the current diagram.
