Facts (PDM)

A fact corresponds to the focus of a decision support investigation.

It is a set of measures (see Measures (PDM)) manipulated by a cube (see Cubes (PDM)). For example, Sale, Revenue, Budget could be facts.

Facts can be reused among different cubes.

• Creating a Fact
  You can create a fact from the Browser or Model menu.
• Fact Properties
  To view or edit a fact's properties, double-click its Browser or list entry. The property sheet tabs and fields listed here are those available by default, before any customization of the interface by you or an administrator.
