Systems Management uses the MX4J implementation of the Java Management Extension (JMX) version 3.0.1 API. Systems Management exposes management and monitoring functionalities to other applications, such as the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and JMX-compliant management applications. You can also enable Systems Management to support other management applications, which use different protocols, by adding connectors and protocol adaptors.
