In EAServer 6.0, Ant configuration scripts are used to define EAServer modules. The installation includes default configurations for several module types, including data sources, database types, EJB providers, export configurations, and thread monitors. Using the Management Console, you can view the predefined Ant scripts by expanding the Configuration Files folder, and selecting the file; the contents of the file display in the right pane.
If you use the Management Console to deploy a module, an Ant configuration script that defines the entity properties and component attributes is automatically generated.
