Postinstallation Tasks

Before using InfoMaker, you might need to perform some migration or configuration tasks after installation.

• Migrating applications to the current version of InfoMaker
  If you have applications and PowerBuilder libraries (PBLs) that you created in an earlier version of InfoMaker, you can migrate them to version 12.5.2. Before you do, make sure your PBLs can be successfully regenerated under the earlier version, and make backup copies. For details about migrating PBLs, see the chapter on working with libraries in the Users Guide.

  Before you migrate to a later version, read the following Technical Document to learn about changes in InfoMaker that might affect your application: Migrating PowerBuilder Applications at http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1032777. • Setting up your DBMS
  Your DBMS might require additional setup procedures for use withInfoMaker. For details, see Connecting to Your Database in the help.

  Required if you want to use the distill method for saving DataWindows as PDF.

  Required if you want to use the distill method for saving DataWindows as PDF.
