Forms

In InfoMaker, you use the Form painter to create and run interactive forms to view and change data. InfoMaker provides four form styles:

Freeform	Grid
Master/Detail One-To-Many	Master/Detail Many-To-One

PowerBuilder® developers in your organization can create custom form styles for you to use.Here are some sample forms:

Freeform form

This sample shows a form titled Employee Data that was created with the predefined Info Maker freeform form style. All the displayed employee data fields are aligned left justified in two columns. At the left of each field is a label for the field such as Employee I D : and Manager I D :. The labels are right justified. The form includes text boxes, radio buttons, and check boxes.

Master/detail many-to-one form

This sample report was formatted using the predefined Info Maker Master / detail many to one form style. At top is a scrollable two column master section listing Company Names and their Customer I Ds. Below this is detailed information for the selected Company Name. It includes left justified text boxes of displayed data with right aligned labels to their left. The selected company in the master section is The Power Group and data for this customer such as Address and Contact information is displayed in the detail section.
