The Form painter provides a grid to help you align controls.
About the grid
The Form painter grid is invisible. You cannot see it in the
Layout view, but your controls can snap to the grid as you move
them.
To use the grid in the Form painter:
Select Design>Options from the menu bar.
Use the options on the General page to:
Make controls snap to a grid position when you place them or move them in a form
Specify the size (height and width) of the grid cells
The options are:
