After you install the DB2 UDB Option for CICS, you are ready to configure the DB2 UDB Option for CICS for your site to establish communication between the DB2 UDB Option for CICS and DirectConnect for z/OS Option.
Use the DB2 UDB Option Configuration Tran ID Selection window and the DB2 UDB Option Configuration windows to alter the configuration settings. The settings are automatically saved in the configuration data set.
When you change configuration properties in the DB2
UDB Option Configuration window, the new values remain in effect
until they are changed again.
To change the DB2 UDB Option for CICS configuration
settings
Using a 3270 terminal emulator, sign on to CICS, clear the window, and enter this command:

The DB2 UDB Option Configuration Tran ID Selection window appears, which allows you to select the transaction ID for which you want to change the configuration, or it begins the process of configuring a new transaction ID.
The first time the previous window appears, no Profile
Name entries are displayed.
Either select the transaction ID from the list and press Enter, or press F4 to add a new transaction ID.The DB2 UDB Option Configuration window appears.
Change the settings to the values you prefer (as explained in “Understanding the configuration properties”), and press Enter.
When you add a new transaction ID, the Transaction ID
field is blank. You must enter a 4-character transaction ID in the
Transaction ID field.
