Stable Storage Use is Above 75 Percent

The total size of all the queues on an SAP Replication Server has passed the set threshold.

Symptom

This message appears in the SAP Replication Server error log:

Explanation

An SAP Replication Server has two default thresholds (75% and 90%) for stable devices. A warning message is issued each time these thresholds are exceeded.

Solution

When the 75% and 90% thresholds have been exceeded:

Verify that the replicate database is running.
If all other components are functional and the inbound queues are growing, shut down the corresponding SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise and check for an open transaction.
If the outbound queues are growing, check the DSI save interval with low block usage.
