Verifying your network connection with ping
Click a server entry in the Server box.
Select the Ping command from the Server Object menu. The Ping dialog box appears.
Click the address you want to ping.
Click Ping.
A message box notifies you whether the connection is successful or if the connection fails. If the connection fails, see “Troubleshooting connection failures”.
