Entering Embedded Replication Server System Database Information

Complete the ERSSD information dialog box.

  1. If you selected an ERSSD in “Selecting RSSD type”, enter the name of your SQL Anywhere server in the ERSSD Name window, and click Continue to accept the name. The Embedded Replication Server System Database window appears.
    Note: If you are configuring a Replication Server that previously existed, you must delete the previous ERSSD database (*.db), the previous transaction log file (*.log), and the previous transaction log mirror file (*.mlg) before you start rs_init.
  2. You see the following options, each filled with a default value:
    • ERSSD Database Directory
    • ERSSD Transaction Log Directory
    • ERSSD Backup Directory
    • ERSSD Error Log Directory
    • ERSSD Interface Information
    Select each item to change the default value to the value you recorded in the Replication Server installation worksheet. See Manage a Replication System in the Administration Guide Volume 1 for more information on value requirements for ERSSDs.
  3. Choose Continue to accept the values and return to the Replication Server System Database Choice window. You see the New Replication Server window.
  4. Choose Continue to return to the New Replication Server window.
