The Embedded SQL/COBOL precompiler has two sample programs, described in the following sections, that demonstrate typical Embedded SQL applications.
Before compiling and running the sample programs, copy
the contents of $SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/sample/esqlcob into
a “working” directory, where you can experiment
with the sample programs without affecting the integrity of the
original files.
