DirectConnect Server as a Windows Service

ECDA Option for Oracle installation does not automatically create the DirectConnect server as a Windows service.

Note: If you set up the DirectConnect server as a Windows service using ServiceWrapper, you must remove the Windows service using the ServiceWrapper utility. The install progra Uninstall process does not remove the Windows service.

Adding the Server as a Windows Service
Add the server as a Windows service using the ServiceWrapper utility.
Starting the Server as a Windows Service
Start the server as a Windows service using the Administrative Tools.
Stopping the Server as a Windows Service
Stop the server as a Windows service using the Administrative Tools.
Removing the Server as a Windows Service
Remove the server as a Windows service using the ServiceWrapper utility.
