Replication Agent products extend the capabilities of SAP Replication
Server by allowing non-SAP database servers to serve as primary database servers in an SAP
replication system.

Replication Agent for DB2 captures database transactions in a DB2 primary database on an z/OS mainframe platform and sends them to Replication Server.

SAP Replication Agent is a replication system component that captures transactions from a DB2 Universal Database (on UNIX and Windows platforms), Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle primary database, and then transfers those transactions to SAP Replication Server.
