| Option | Purpose |

| -i console | Uses the console interface mode, where messages during installation appear on the Java console and the wizard is run in console mode. |
| -i silent | Installs or uninstalls the product in silent mode, where the installation or uninstallation is performed with no user interaction. |
| -D | Passes custom variables and
properties. For example, to override the default installation directory
when you run the installer, enter:
install_launcher_name -DUSER_INSTALL_DIR=E:\Sybase |
| -r | Generates a response file and a reference. |
| -f | References a response files. |
| -l | Sets installer locales. |
| -\? | Displays installer help. |
