Modifying the .bat File for Replication Server Start-Up

Replication Server start-up requires a batch file that contains the commands for starting Replication Server. You may have to modify this file to work in your environment.

To modify a .bat file for Replication Server:

Insert the contents of the x:\InstallDirectory\SYBASE.bat file at the beginning of the x:\InstallDirectory\REP-15_5\repserverdir\RUN_servername.bat file, where:
  • x is the drive name.
  • InstallDirectory is the name of the installation directory.
  • repserverdir is the name of your Replication Server directory.
  • servername is the name of your Replication Server.

When you execute the .bat files, you set all environment variables for Replication Server to the unique Replication Server product directory.
