The installer creates the target directory and installs the selected components into that directory.
- Launch the installer.
- On Windows (32-bit) – select \nt386\RMP_Suite\setupwin32.exe
If the installer does not start automatically, select , and enter:
x:\nt386\RMP_Suite\setupwin32.exe
- On Windows (64-bit) – select \winx64\RMP_Suite\setupwin64.exe
If the installer does not start automatically, select , and enter:
x:\winx64\RMP_Suite\setupwin64.exe
where x is the location of the installer.
- In the Introduction window, click Next.
- Select the geographic location, agree to the license agreement, then click Next.
- Indicate where to install Replication Manager:

Click Restore Default Folder.

To restore to the default directory if you do not want to use the directory that you have entered.

- If the directory you chose does not exist, click Yes to create it.
- If it does exist, and already contains a Replication Manager installation, you are warned that you will overwrite the older version. Click Next.
- The installation summary window displays the selections you have made. Review the information, and click Install.
- When the installation finished, click Done.

Verify that the installation is valid and successful.
- View the InstallAndRegister.log file and logs in %SYBASE%\log to check for errors. A valid installation does not contain the word “error.”
- Ensure that the date of the si_reg.xml file in %SYBASE%\Sybase_Install_Registry reflects the date of the current installation.
- Ensure that you can access Replication Manager from Sybase Central.
