Adaptive Server version 12.5 and later no longer uses the buildmaster binary to build the master device. Instead, Sybase has incorporated the buildmaster functionality in the dataserver binary. See Chapter 1, “Building Servers Using dataserver” for more information, and dataserver for syntax.
