Only actions performed by the installer are removed during an uninstallation process. This means that files or registry entries created after installation are not removed by the uninstaller and must be removed by the customer after the uninstall is completed. Where possible, these actions are identified.
If Adaptive Server version 15.5 is installed on top of an existing Adaptive Server 12.5 or earlier, Adaptive Server version 12.5 or earlier creates a shortcut that launches the uninstaller, while Adaptive Server 15.5 registers the uninstaller with the Add/Remove Programs option on the control panel. Use the Add/Remove Programs option to remove Adaptive Server. This does not remove some of the shortcuts created by the Adaptive Server version 12.5 or earlier installer; you must manually remove these shortcuts.
