Installing the IBM XL C/C++ Redistributable Libraries

Sybase IQ depends on some redistributable libraries included with IBM XL C/C++ V10.0 and higher. If you are using an XL C/C++ compiler that is less than version 10.0, update your environment with these libraries.

1. Download and install the "IBM XL C/C++ Compiler Update for AIX, V10.1" from the IBM Support Portal.
2. Download and install the "IBM XL C/C++ Runtime Environment for AIX, V10.1" from the IBM Support Portal .
