OpenSwitch version 15.0 and later allows you to start and stop the RCM automatically from OpenSwitch when OpenSwitch starts.

This functionality is supported by:
Parameters RCM_AUTOSTART, RCM_RETRIES, RCM_PATH, RCM_CFG_FILE, RCM_LOG_FILE, and RCM_SECONDARY in the [CONFIG] section of the OpenSwitch configuration file. See Chapter 4, “Starting and Stopping OpenSwitch and RCMs” in the OpenSwitch Administration Guide.
