Redefine Checks

PowerDesigner provides default model checks to verify the validity of redefines.

Check	Description and Correction
Undefined schema location	You must define a schema location for a redefine. Manual correction: In the redefine property sheet, define a URI or select a schema file for the schema location. For example: customers.xsd Automatic correction: None
Existence of component	A redefine must contain at least one of the following items: simple type, complex type, group or attribute group. Manual correction: Add items to the redefine Automatic correction: None
