If you run RedHat 5.x or SuSE 10 an IBM P Series machine, install the XL C/C++ Advanced Edition for Linux, V9.0 environment; otherwise the Sybase IQ Sybase Central plug-in will fail to register. This update is available from IBM update site for C and C++ compilers.
