Enabling TCP/IP

Enable TCP/IP.

  1. Go to Microsoft SQL Server > Configuration Tools, and choose SQL Server Configuration Manager > SQL Server Network Configuration > Protocols for [SQLInstanceName], where SQLInstanceName is your SQL Server instance.
  2. Right-click TCP/IP, and choose Enable.
