Verifying the Version of the Microsoft Filter Manager Library

Confirm that the Microsoft Filter Manager Library version is 5.1.2600.2978 or later, to make the primary transaction log files readable for Replication Agent.

1. Navigate to c:\windows\system32.
2. Right-click fltlib.dll and select Properties.

   You see the Properties dialog box.

3. On the Properties dialog box, click the Details tab.
4. If the version is earlier than 5.1.2600.2978, go to the Microsoft Web site at http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/vistadefault.aspx?ln=en-us, and update your Windows system.
