Device client and SAP Mobile Server troubleshooting tools for
diagnosing Hybrid Web Container development problems.
Client-side debugging
To find out more information on the device client-side:
- Hybrid
Web Client (located on the mobile device; not available on iOS) – shows the
interaction between the Hybrid Web Client on the mobile device and SAP Mobile Server. On a mobile device that has the
Hybrid Web Client installed, view .

SAP Mobile Server – shows activity occurring
on SAP Mobile Server. Change the tracing
level for SAP Mobile Server from SAP Control Center. In the left pane, click
; and in the right pane click and its modules to set server log level See Configuring SAP Mobile Server Log Settings in SAP Control Center
for SAP Mobile Platform.
Server-side debugging
To find out more information on the SAP Mobile Server side:
- WorkflowClient – shows the interaction between the
Hybrid App and the data sent to and from the
SAP Mobile Server (to enable, turn
Hybrid App tracing on). Change the tracing level
for Hybrid App packages from
SAP Control Center. In the left pane click , and in the right pane click , then select the debug Level.
