The following tasks are involved in configuring the Agentry
Server to communicate over an
HTTP-XML system connection. Certain tasks may or may not pertain to a particular
implementation environment and you should perform a careful review of the application’s
requirements and functionality before proceeding.
- Research and information gathering for the web server with which the Agentry
Server is to connect,
including:
- The base URL address with which the Agentry
Server is to
connect.
- If specific name spaces exist in the XML schema to be used, those names
should be noted.
- Back end user authentication needs of the application
- Other relevant communications information for the back end system,
including port numbers and network timeout durations.
- Modifications to the Agentry
Server’s Agentry.ini file, specifically the sections:
- [System Connections]
- [HTTPXML-n]
Make these modifications using SAP
Control Center, rather than
manually modifying the configuration file.
- Application-specific additions or modifications to the XML constants file, or the
creation of additional constants files.
