Recovery Procedures for OData Applications

Describes procedures to recover OData applications, if these steps were not included into the application code.

You must stop services before copying the data folder from the location: C:\SAP\UnwiredPlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Data.

There are two recovery scenarios:

• The OData application still appears to be registered in SAP Mobile Platform. You are not required to perform any recovery steps, and can request responses from the registered user as required.
• The OData application is no longer registered in SAP Mobile Platform after restoring the old database. To recover:
  1. Call the deleteUser API to unregister the user from the device.
  2. Call the registerUser API to register the user in SAP Control Center.
  3. Request responses with the newly registered user as required.
