Enabling HTTPS with Mutual Certificate Authentication

Set up and configure the use of X.509 certificates for mutual SSL authentication. Most client types (including replication, messaging, Hybrid Web Container, and OData native) can use HTTPS with mutual certificate authentication to authenticate at the network edge (Relay Server or a third-party intermediary reverse proxy server).

Authenticating at the Network Edge with Relay Server
Enable HTTP with mutual certificate authentication at the network edge with a Relay Server.
Authenticating at the Network Edge with a Reverse Proxy
Enable HTTP with mutual certificate authentication at the network edge with a third-party intermediary reverse proxy server.
