Getting Started with Production Clusters

Get started using SAP Control Center in production clusters of SAP Mobile Platform. Follow steps to configure and prepare SAP Control Center for SAP Mobile Platform use.

  1. Getting Started After Installing
    Perform postinstallation testing and configuration.
  2. Configuring Memory Usage
    (Optional) Determine whether you need to configure how much memory SAP Control Center uses, and if so which configuration method to use.
  3. Configuring the Automatic Logout Timer
    (Optional) Set SAP Control Center to end login sessions when users are inactive for too long.
  4. Manually Opening the SAP Mobile Platform Console
    If the SAP Mobile Platform administration console does not appear automatically, you may need to manually open it in SAP Control Center (SCC). Once open, you can then use the SAP Mobile Platform administration console to manage the SAP Mobile Server enabled mobile environment.
  5. Adding or Updating SAP Mobile Server Registration Properties
    By default SAP Control Center automatically detects and registers clusters and SAP Mobile Server nodes as managed resources The resource entry named 'localhost' is created for the local server upon installation. However, under certain conditions, you need to manually register new clusters or nodes, or modify existing entries.
