Downgrading Replication Agent for Oracle 15.7.1 ESD #2 Installed on Top of Replication Agent for Oracle 15.6

By default, the Replication Agent for Oracle 15.7.1 ESD #2 installer uses the RAX-15_5 directory, and overwrites the Replication Agent for Oracle 15.5 installation. Follow these steps to correctly downgrade a typical Replication Agent for Oracle 15.7.1 ESD #2 installation.

1. Shut down Replication Agent for Oracle 15.7.1 ESD #2.
2. Install Replication Agent for Oracle 15.6 in the default installation directory.
3. Prepare for downgrade:

   ra_downgrade installation_path

4. Complete the downgrade:

   ra_downgrade_accept timestamp.export

   where timestamp.export is the file to which ra_downgrade extracted RASD contents.
5. Start Replication Agent for Oracle 15.6, and resume replication.
