You must designate a failover node to continue the coordinator
role in the event that the current coordinator is unable to continue.
- Start the server, connect to it, and issue a
command in the following format:
ALTER MULTIPLEX SERVER server-name ASSIGN AS FAILOVER SERVER
- The designated failover node defaults to the first multiplex
server added to the multiplex.
