SAP Sybase IQ
16.0 requires JRE_7. The SYBASE_JRE Java environment
variables have changed accordingly.
The SYBASE_JRE7_64, SYBASE_JRE7_32 environment variable specifies the location of the
Java Runtime Environment used by Sybase Control Center. On startup, Sybase Control
Center checks SCC_JAVA_HOME for Java version definition. If SCC_JAVA_HOME is undefined,
Sybase Control Center checks for installed JREs in this order:
- SYBASE_JRE7_64
- SYBASE_JRE7_32
The following SYBASE_JRE6 Java environment variables are deprecated:
- SYBASE_JRE6_64
- SYBASE_JRE6
- SYBASE_JRE6_32
- SYBASE_JRE5_64
