Wired Memory Switch
The
-iqwmem
switch creates a pool of “wired” memory on certain UNIX platforms only.
Warning!
Use this switch only if you have enough memory to dedicate some of it for this purpose. Otherwise, you might cause serious performance degradation.
-iqwmem iqsrv16 Server Option
Creates a pool of “wired” memory on HP and Sun UNIX systems.
