Creating an Agent Connection

Create a Data Assurance (DA) agent connection required to create comparesets and schema jobs.

1. In the Perspective Resources view, select a DA server.
2. Select Resource > Administration Console.
3. Expand Data Assurance Server, then select Data Assurance Agent Connections.
4. Either:
   • Select Folder > Create Agent Connection, or,
   • Click the button that appears when you select Data Assurance Agent Connections, then select Create Agent Connection.
5. Specify the agent connection information:

   Field	Description
   Data Assurance server	(Required) Name of the DA server from the drop-down list.
   Name	(Required) Name of the agent connection. Space is not allowed.
   Host	(Required) Name of the server where the DA agent is installed.
   Port	(Required) Port number of the DA agent.
   Username	(Required) DA agent username.
   Password	(Required) DA agent password.
   Description	A brief description to help you identify the agent connection.

6. (Optional) Click Test to verify if the provided agent connection information is correct.
7. Click OK.
