John uses Sybase Control Center to configure and start the RBS RSOEs for the development versions of Unwired Servers.
Because connections will be secured using HTTPS, he must also load the correct certificate file.
- In the navigation pane, click .
- Upload the certificate:
- In the administration pane, select the RSOE tab, then click Certificate Files.
- Click the + button. Browse and select the .CRT file to upload, then click Open.
- Click OK.
- Configure the RSOEs. While Sybase recommends three RSOEs per synchronization type; however for a development environment, one should be sufficient.
- In the administration pane, select the RSOE tab, then click New.
- Configure general properties:

- Configure start-up options by accepting all defaults, and exit the wizard.
- In the RSOE tab, select the newly configured RSOE and click Start.
