Enabling Kerberos Authentication for the ESP Add-In for Microsoft Excel

Enable Kerberos Authentication for the ESP Add-In for Microsoft Excel by setting the necessary environment variables and specifying the Authentication Type and User parameters.

1. Set the following environment variables on Windows before starting the Excel application:
   1. Set the ESP_GSSAPI_LIB environment variable to point to the shared library provided by the Kerberos install. The library contains the GSSAPI function implementations.
   2. Set the PATH environment variable to include any library dependencies of the Kerberos Dynamic-Link Library (DLL).
   3. Set the ESP_SERVICE_NAME environment variable to set the service principal name.
   4. Set the KRB5_CONFIG environment variable to point to the configuration file used by the Kerberos library.
   5. Set the KRB5CCNAME environment variable to point to the ticket cache.
2. Specify the following parameters under the SAP RT Wizard Connection Wizard Tab:
   • Set Authentication Type parameter to Kerberos.
   • Set User parameter.
